    SONGS OF PRAISE FOR VILLAGE CHURCH CHOIRS - 31st MAY
    Organised in conjunction with
    The Royal School of Church Music, Lincoln Area. This will take place at St. Peter & St. Paul Church, Gosberton. Rehearsal at 4.30pm & Service at 6.00pm.

    This is an opportunity for anyone who enjoys  singing  to join with members of village church choirs, robed or unrobed,  to sing and learn about, a varied selection of hymns and other music. There will be a charge of £2.00 per singer to cover the costs.

    THE BISHOP OF LINCOLN will preside at a 10am special Communion Service on Sunday 7th June at St Gilbert & St Hugh’s in Clough to officially open the new Memorial Garden. Come and meet Bp Christopher! Refreshments follow in the hall.

    GOSBERTON COMMUNITY ORCHARD - produce & plant swap on 20th June from noon to 2pm at 'Neldar', Northgate, Gosberton PE11 4LJ. Free entry, donations welcome to cover costs. Tea, coffee, biscuits and soft drinks available. There will be a BBQ afterwards - please bring your own meat and veggies. Tel 01775 750708 for more information.

    WOLLATON HALL AND GARDENS COACH TRIP ON WEDS 24TH JUNE. Gosberton Baptist Church are organising the outing and there are seats to spare. Everyone is welcome to come. The fare is £16 and includes entry to  the hall, two floors of the national history museum and to the gardens and deer park.

    Then in addition for a further £4 concessions and £5 adults one can book a guided tour of the hall.  There is a very good restaurant with a variety of food. The coach will do pick ups from Spalding to Donington inclusive. Numbers have to be in at the end of May. Don’t miss out, book now by phoning 01775 840185

    ANNUAL GARDEN FETE- Saturday 4th July 3pm Riseholm Farm, Risegate. Ukulele Orchestra, traditional stalls, Steam engine rides, (raffle prizes, cakes etc gratefully received) Tea and cakes etc. served in the garden.     THE MAGIC OF MUSIC – 12th September 7pm . An evening of songs from the musicals in Gosberton Church by Spalding Amateur Dramatic & Operatic Society . Tickets are £7 each and include refreshments. They are available from Debbie on 840694 and also on the door.

    TASTER WORKSHOPS: Transported is delighted to announce that following feedback gathered at events last year, we are offering a series of subsidised "Taster" workshops in creative writing, drawing, mosaic, wood carving and stained glass this Spring.     YOUTH CLUB WORKER WANTED for Gosberton Youth Club. 3 hours per week on Friday evenings 7pm to 10pm. Hourly rate to be negotiated. Experience and relevant qualifications preferred but not essential.  You will be working with young people between the ages of 11 to 21. The job entails helping to set up structured activities, supervising club members, recording attendance and collecting weekly subs. You will be expected to comply and enforce all Gosberton Youth Club policies, undergo training and DBS checks.
