Thursday 5th August 2021 10:00 - 11:30Quadring coffee morningCome along to our coffee morning in St Margaret's Hall, Main Road, Quadring. Usually on the first and third Thursday each month, although some months there are variations. Our last coffee morning will be on 2nd December. We then close until February 2022. We open from 10am to 11.30am. All welcome!!
13:30 - 15:30Handbell ringingThe handbell ringing group meet in Gosberton Church Hall (behind the church) most Thursdays for practive and ringing. Don't worry if you've never held a handbell in your life! Training will be given. Just turn up and see what you think. Refreshments provided. £1 per week fee. Monday 9th August 2021 19:30 - 22:00Gosberton Local History SocietyThe next meeting will be on Monday 9th August 7.30pm in Gosberton Church. The main speaker will Stuart Palmer – Gosberton’s Sporting History. There will be other local history news and a short film. Note: The meeting is in the parish church (not in the hall) as more room is available. Do bring your own exhibits / news items to share – tables provided. Meetings are held on the 2nd Wednesday of every month at Quadring Church Hall on the main road, at 7.30pm. Saturday 21st August 2021 10:00 - 16:00Golden Angels open day at Clough ChurchCome and see the famous Angels! The angels were restored on the BBC program The Repair Shop’ Come along and see the fantastic result of the hard work done by Will Kirk. The church and church hall will be open from 10am to 4pm. Free entry to the church (although a donation is welcome). Have a look around this lovely Arts and Crafts influenced Edwardian church which has lots of wonderful features. Afterwards, come and have a tea or coffee and a piece of homemade cake in the church hall. All welcome!

This year’s theme is: ‘GOOD NEWS FOR THE POOR'. The church will be open for viewing on Saturday and Monday from 10.30am to 4.30pm.  There is morning worship at 10.30 on Sunday, so we are open for viewing from noon to 4.30pm when we have a Songs of Praise.  The usual stalls and competitions, plants, jig saws, bric-a-brac, mystery tins etc. will be here.
